In 1998 Michael Miles had finished tracking his first-ever solo CD at Holy Cow Studios in St. Paul, MN (now Fuzzy Slippers Studios) and eventually released it through mp3.com in February of 2000. The original recording included (in this order) To the King’s Hill, Kiss My Wound, On My Way, Through, The Other Side (part one), 1640 Miles Away, Mercy for the Tears, Swiety, The Other Side (part two), plus one buried track.
Since then Michael has added a number of tracks, removed a few, and remastered the CD to boost the overall levels to air-quality volume levels. Because mp3.com had gone under and the re-release of “Through”, the original mp3.com version of “Through” is unavailable. Aside from the number of copies that had been sold and in people’s various collections, only 2 copies remain.
